COP 26 - November 2021 – This is the decade that will decide human history.
Sustainability, carbon neutrality and reduction in the use of fossil fuels are at the forefront of everyone's mind. Business leaders and managers will be measured on their action and reaction to global warming, world hunger and the development of those countries and societies that have not had the advantage of benefitting from the industrial revolutions of the past.
This course is designed to bring together the concepts of best practice and Service Management with the focus on changing businesses, focussing on the sustainability of the business itself and the supply chains that support or enable it. Sustainability in Digital & IT is a new extension module that compliments ITIL. Created with the UN, UNESCO and UNICEF it is a two-and-a-half-day course that explores how digital organisations can progress and how organisations should look forward and understand not only their impact upon the planet but how they can adapt and change to deliver the sustainability that both worldwide governments and local communities want. The mantra that runs throughout the course is ‘Think globally, act locally’.
Who should attend?
It is aimed at anyone looking to understand the role IT and digitally enabled services have in relation to the environment, whilst exploring opportunities to positively impact it.
Examination
After successfully completing the in-course assignments, learners must complete a one-hour, closed book, examination of 35 questions with Peoplecert invigilators. Pass rate is 70% (25/35) Important information: This examination is a standalone module – Axelos/Peoplecert have chosen to call it an extension module – true it extends knowledge, but it has ZERO bearing on gaining the ITIL Managing Professional or ITIL Strategist qualification award.
PeopleCert exams take place remotely via PeopleCert Online Proctoring, and the afternoon of the last day of your course will continue with your learning until approximately 4.00pm. When booking your exam please ensure that it is for a time after the course has concluded and at a time convenient for you. You will be required to download and install ExamShield and conduct a compatibility test prior to sitting the exam.
