This Master Class discusses Parallel Execution, covering Parallel Query, DML and DDL. It begins by discussing the architecture for Parallel Execution in both Single Instance and RAC. It then describes Administration of parallelism, and the monitoring of Parallel execution SQL Statements. It then moves to the use of Automatic Parallelism introduced in 11g Release 2, covering the Administration and effects of Auto-Parallelism parameters, Automatic Parallelism behaviour, Parallel Statement queuing, use of The Resource Manager to control per consumer group queuing and In-Memory Parallel Query.
