Here’s our take on password security… Don’t worry, we’re not going to get really technical about it all, we promise this will be an entertaining and informative webinar on how to, and how not to choose passwords! Everyone from older teenagers interested in a career in cyber security all the way through to senior executives will walk away with a better insight into how to protect themselves from a password attack.

We’ll start with a high-level look at how passwords are stored on a computer. We’ll then see how many possibilities there are to guess a given password and the speeds at which an attacker can try and guess them, showing how some systems (and passwords!) are more vulnerable than others.

Using information from real life data breaches we will demonstrate the importance of good password security and the potential impact of ignoring it, showing how current password advice has changed over time.

The session will wrap up with advice for securing yourself and your passwords moving forwards.
