QA Apprenticeships has been awarded onto the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO) apprenticeships framework, giving public sector employers a highly streamlined new way to hire QA apprentices, use the apprenticeship levy to upskill existing staff, bolt on extra training and get the in-demand skills their workforces need.
YPO is a leading UK procurement provider for the public sector. Its apprenticeships framework allows schools, the NHS, emergency services, councils and other wider public sector (WPS) employers to choose from approved apprenticeship providers, enrol existing staff onto apprenticeships and hire new apprentices to train in sought-after areas. This bypasses a standard 9+ week procurement process, providing a much more appealing and user-friendly experience for procurement managers in the public sector.
Employers can choose from a range of in-demand QA apprenticeship programmes through the framework, including Infrastructure Technician Level 3, Network Engineer Level 4, Software Development Technician Level 3, Software Developer Level 4, Associate Project Manager Level 4, Data Analyst Level 4 and IS Business Analyst Level 4.
The new QA contract covers public sector employers in the South East, London, North West, West Midlands, South West, Yorkshire and Humber, East Midlands and North East of England.
