QA, the UK’s largest tech skills and talent provider, is delighted to announce that its apprenticeship programmes achieved the highest overall pass rate among UK tech training providers. Following the completion of the 2020 End Point Assessment by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, a larger percentage of QA’s apprentices passed their apprenticeships than any other provider assessed by BCS.

“This result demonstrates the market-leading quality of our apprenticeship programmes," said Paul Geddes, CEO, QA. "An apprentice has a greater chance of passing their apprenticeship with QA than with any other apprenticeship provider.

"On top of this, we have seen distinctions treble in our Digital Marketing apprenticeship programme this year. Put together, these results are a validation of everything we are trying to achieve and an endorsement of just how hard our apprentices have worked in this very difficult year.”

QA’s industry-leading pass rate follows a challenging year for apprentices who have had to adapt to working and learning remotely during the nationwide Covid-19 lockdown. QA’s ongoing investment in digital-first apprenticeships ensured that apprentices could continue their skills development and practical application in spite of the global pandemic.

Annette Allmark, Head of Apprenticeships at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, said: “Digital skills qualifications are vital to the UK’s economic and social renewal. The fact that so many QA apprentices have completed courses during the pandemic shows the commitment of its trainers to helping people look to the future with confidence.”

QA delivers a portfolio of apprenticeship programmes covering much in-demand IT skills ranging from Cloud to DevOps and Cyber Security. QA has trained over 30,000 technology apprentices to date and offers apprenticeships from Level 3 all the way up to masters-degree Level 7.
