Certification Details
The BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, Diploma in International Solutions Development, requires that delegates successfully pass the two mandatory core modules, one of a choice of knowledge-based specialisms and a one of a choice of practitioner-based specialisms. Once the above modules have been completed candidates must then sit and pass an oral exam with ISEB to gain the full International Diploma in Solutions Development.
Delegates have the flexibility to sit the modules within the International Diploma in Solutions Development in any order they choose, however having completed the four modular certificates delegates will need to book the Oral examination. Step 1 - Sit two of the following courses:
Take Systems Development Essentials and either of the Systems Modelling Techniques (Structured or UML) courses, then pass all associated examinations.
Step 2 - Sit one of the following 'Knowledge-Based' courses:
Select one 'Knowledge-Based' course, from the options below. Please note that some of these courses do not include the exams and they must be booked separately using codes listed below.
Step 3 - Sit one of the following 'Practitioner-Based' courses:
Select one 'Practitioner-Based' course, from the options below. Please note that 'Practitioner-Based' courses may not include the exams and they must be booked separately.
Step 4 - Take the SD Oral Exam
The exam is taken externally but QA can arrange this for you.
