Certification details

Please note: This VMware Legacy Certification will go End-of Life per the 15th of December 2025. Please be aware that customers who would like to take one of the VMware legacy exams before the 15th of December, need to register for the exam before the 31st of October.

The VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2024 [v2] (VCP-DCV 2024) certification validates an individual's knowledge and skills with VMware vSphere solutions, including virtual machines, networking, and storage. Job-roles associated with this certification include virtualization administrators, system engineers, and consultants.

 

For learners who are new to VMware Certifications:
