Overview
This self‑paced e‑learning course introduces PRINCE2 Agile Version 2. It blends the governance and control of PRINCE2 with agile ways of working (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and emphasises both ‘being agile’ (mindset, behaviours) and ‘doing agile’ (practices and techniques). Learners gain the knowledge needed to contribute effectively to hybrid delivery environments and prepare for the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation (v2) exam.
Prerequisites
No formal prerequisites. Prior exposure to projects or agile delivery is helpful but not required. The Foundation certificate is also the prerequisite for PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner (v2).
Target Audience
Suitable for anyone involved in project delivery within agile or hybrid contexts, including project coordinators, project managers, business analysts, product owners, scrum team members, PMO staff and stakeholders seeking to understand structured agility.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Explain PRINCE2’s principles, themes and processes at a high level and how they interface with agile delivery.
- Describe core agile concepts and techniques (e.g., iterative delivery, roles, ceremonies, Kanban, MoSCoW) and how they scale.
- Distinguish between ‘being agile’ and ‘doing agile’ and identify behaviours that enable collaboration, transparency and psychological safety.
- Tailor PRINCE2 controls to suit agile contexts (e.g., fix and flex the six aspects: benefits, scope, time, cost, risk, quality).
- Understand exam essentials and prepare effectively for the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation (v2) assessment.
