Overview

Business Analysts can have a massive impact on the success or failure of a project, both in the designing and testing of the system, but what testing is, and how we do it, are commonly not taught as part of the Business Analysts curriculum.

Often the Business Analyst is required to fill multiple roles including that of tester.

In other projects, Business Analysts are asked to support the testers. This can simply be done by providing of information to the testers.

As part of an Agile team, a Business Analyst would be expected to test the software, quality is everyone’s responsibility.

The aim of this course is to introduce the core concepts of software testing and show how the Business Analyst can get involved to help maximise the chance of high quality testing happening.
