Overview
Experienced trainers benefit from reviewing their practice and keeping their delivery skills current as learner expectations and organisational needs evolve. TAP® Training Delivery Skills – Refresher provides a practical opportunity to revisit established delivery principles, reflect on current practice and identify areas for further development.
Designed for trainers who have previously completed a qualifying TAP® training delivery course, the programme combines self-paced preparation with a live, one-day refresher session. You will review the TAP® principles and Training Delivery Skills Guidelines, consider current learning and development trends, and prepare a 20-minute training session that demonstrates the guidelines in practice.
During the live session, you will deliver your prepared session and receive feedback from peers and the facilitator. You will use this feedback to recognise your strengths, evaluate your delivery and identify two development areas with clear actions.
Trainers must complete the refresher every three years to maintain TAP® Training Delivery accreditation and revalidate their digital badge.
Prerequisites
You must have completed one of the following TAP® courses before attending:
- TAP® Training Delivery for Experienced Trainers
- TAP® Delivery Skills for New Trainers
Before the live session, you will complete approximately one day of self-study and preparation. This includes assigned pre-reading, reviewing the core TAP® principles and current learning and development trends, and preparing a 20-minute training session using the TAP® guidelines.
