Biography

With a PhD in Computer Science (Media Arts and Technology) and a strong foundation in engineering and machine learning, he combined rigorous analytical skills with a creative, design-led approach.

Previously at QA, he supported learners from Amazon and other clients in achieving success in their Level 4 Data Analyst and Level 5 Data Engineering programmes, offering 1:1 coaching on topics such as data wrangling, modelling, and cloud platforms.

Before moving into full-time education and coaching, Hazar held data science roles in the tech industry, including at Nanu, where he worked on machine learning models (including NLP) using Python, SQL, and Google Cloud. He also spent several years in academia as a Teaching Fellow at Queen Mary University of London, supervising MSc dissertations on advanced ML topics like CNNs, GANs, LSTMs, and AI-driven stock prediction, while also delivering programming courses.

Hazar is passionate about learning design and is actively involved in curriculum development and innovation in tech education. His technical toolkit spans Python, SQL, R, and cloud certifications across AWS and Azure. He brings a deep understanding of data pipelines, AI, and effective learning methodologies, and is committed to helping individuals and organisations adopt data-driven approaches that are both technically robust and human-centered.

A lifelong learner himself, Hazar blends his research-driven mindset with hands-on industry practice, always aiming to make complex data concepts more accessible and meaningful.
