Overview
This Level 3 Data Essentials insight session focuses on real-world application, strategic insight, and practical examples from across government. It explores how programmes support individuals in building confidence when working with data, while developing core capabilities such as data handling, basic analysis, Excel, and data visualisation.
It will also highlight how these skills can drive process improvement and enable more efficient ways of working, supporting both individual development and wider workforce capability planning for line managers and learning teams.
This session is designed for civil servants and public sector professionals working across government departments, executive agencies, regulators, and ALBs. It is suitable for colleagues in roles such as policy, operations, finance, and corporate functions, who are currently involved in data administration and looking to strengthen their data skills and confidence.
