As AI becomes increasingly embedded in daily work, the ability to evaluate AI-generated content is becoming an essential skill. This webinar explores why critical thinking is crucial when working with AI tools, which can produce outputs that appear credible even when they contain errors, bias, or unsupported conclusions. Attendees will be introduced to the PAUSE framework (Purpose, Assumptions, Usefulness, Sources, Ethics and Inclusion), a practical approach for assessing AI-generated content before acting on it. Through a series of realistic examples, the session examines common risks such as bias, missing context, and overconfidence, while also highlighting situations where AI should not be used, including sensitive decisions, performance evaluations, and other scenarios requiring empathy and human judgment.
