Overview
Globally recognised PRINCE2 Programme Management (formerly known as MSP 5th Edition) is the go-to certification and guidance for programme managers, business change managers and the next step for project managers. It addresses the most common challenges organizations encounter when leading investments in change through strategic / large programmes with multiple related projects. The framework aligns programmes and projects to organizational strategy, provides strong governance, and focuses on the outcomes of benefit whilst mitigating risks and actively engaging stakeholders.
The framework dovetails with the other best-practice products (such as PRINCE2 Project Management and PRINCE2 Portfolio Management).
This PeopleCert official PRINCE2 Programme Management practitioner eLearning equips you with the expertise to effectively apply the principles and best practices, ensuring measurable value is delivered to your organization.
The eLearning consists of 10-12 hours of interactive, device-friendly content that allows you to self-study at your own pace. You should also plan for 8-10 hours individual study of the MSP manual, personal revision, and exam practice.
Learner engagement is ensured through embedded video, onscreen interaction and summative quizzes. Through 9 bite-sized modules, the course fully explains each integrated element of the framework.
- Principles – Seven guiding obligations that are continually required to achieve value from programme management.
- Themes – The seven themes are the essential aspects of governance required to ensure that the programme is aligned with the principles.
- Processes – The programme lifecycle consists of seven processes which detail the responsibilities and activities that should be undertaken from a programme’s conception through to its final closure.
