What is Learning at Work Week?

Learning at Work Week is an annual campaign celebrating lifelong learning and encouraging employers to build stronger learning cultures at work. It highlights the benefits of skills development and helps organisations support their people to learn, progress, and thrive. 

We participate every year – offering free events, resources, and varied learning experiences.

When is Learning at Work Week 2026?

What is the theme of Learning at Work Week 2026?

The national theme for 2026 is “Many ways to learn”. This theme explores many different ways businesses can support their employees to learn and build skills, whilst creating inclusive opportunities for lifelong learning. The theme is built around three strands:

  • Learn to Learn
    Boost self-awareness, identify personal barriers to learning, build a growth mindset, and explore the different ways we can learn effectively
  • Learn for Life
    Focus on resilience, confidence, wellbeing, and personal development that enrich both life and work
  • Learn for Work
    Develop practical skills that enhance performance, adaptability, and impact in fast-changing workplaces
