My tech background helps me share my knowledge and identify roles that candidates would be good at. My manager gave me great support and helped me develop into the person I’ve become. It’s not all about work though, we have team nights out – when we hit our monthly target – we’re celebrating!

I decided to move into teaching from the military because I reached a point in my career where I could pass on some of my experience (and take a breather from the faster pace of industry). I’m constantly learning – and expanding my technical remit. I interact with loads of industry Cyber Security practitioners and professionals – which adds to the perks of the job.

I reached my limit as a Business Analyst – I wanted to make more of a difference and becoming a training consultant at QA offered me that chance. I use my extensive experience to teach business analysis.

I test and measure the audience response all the time and it’s a real buzz when I get it right and they all have that 'aha' moment (and maybe a laugh at the same time). Before I was a contractor – but I decided to look for a permanent role. QA was growing rapidly which allowed me to take my career to new heights. I love working with people and helping them develop their careers. QA has a relaxed atmosphere, everyone is so supportive.
