Copilot Economy 2027: How HumanAI Teams are becoming the new productivity engine
12 October 2026 | 13:00 - 14:00 (BST)
Overview
This 60-minute session explores how work changes when people and AI operate as one team, and what that means for organisations in any sector. It is a strategic conversation, not a tools demonstration.
We begin by defining the Copilot Economy: an economy where value chains are increasingly driven by integrated HumanAI teams.
We then look at the HumanAI Team as the new unit of productivity, where people keep judgement, accountability and purpose, and AI contributes speed, scale, pattern recognition and drafting support. Participants will see why the biggest gains sit between teams, at the hand-offs along the value chain.
Next, we examine where saved time actually goes, naming the risk of AI productivity leakage and the opportunity to reinvest capacity in better decisions, service and outcomes.
The session closes on how roles shift from producing the work to directing it, and the light-touch governance that keeps AI-assisted work safe.
