Michael is an experienced project manager and project management trainer, teaching and managing projects using both Waterfall and Agile philosophies. Michael believes in using the art of storytelling to give context to the lessons of project management.
Biography
Michael started out early as a project manager, working on the stock market “big bang” project for his organisation. From there he did not look back, managing construction projects for the NHS and retail. Michael then moved into the IT discipline, being involved in the beginning of the dot.com revolution, delivering IT and web-based solutions in various industries from utilities to internet Service Providers.

- 1988 – Inter-dealer brokerage providing IT support and project management
- 1993 – Various project management contracts in various industries
- 1996 – 1998 – an outdoor advertising company providing IT support and project management
- 1998 – 2000 – one of the top 5 consultancy companies, providing IT project management for clients including Y2K migration and defence
- 2000 – 2003 – working for a major internet provider delivering web-based projects for clients and business merger and acquisition projects internally
- 2003 – 2005 – a start up consultancy company, working with local government clients to meet the eGov agenda
- 2005 – present – senior project and programme management trainer and consultant with QA.
