Jackie Hewett
Biography
Jackie's project-related career started in the insurance industry (Life & Pensions, General Insurance and London Market). At Commercial Union (now Aviva) Jackie worked her way up initially from systems programming through systems / business analysis to project management. At Commercial Union Jackie also spent some considerable time working on large scale HR projects and programmes and also as a change agent on culture-change initiatives and rolling out a competency management framework. She then went on to freelance with a number of insurance organisations including Lloyds of London, Limit/QBE, Legal and General and Liverpool Victoria.
In 2009 Jackie bought a micro ATO (Accredited Training Organisation) Balance Global that purely delivered PRINCE2 accredited courses. Over some 13 years Jackie grew the organisation to a £2.5m annual turnover business. This was achieved through significantly broadening the product offering, creating eLearning / blended and bespoke solutions. Balance Global worked with organisations such as the European Social Fund & Skills Funding Agency to help many 1000's of professionals into new project management careers. Growth was also achieved through developing new channels with over-seas associate organisations and re-sellers, . Balance Global's diverse client base included NHS, local government, charities and even the Falkland's Government
Jackie joined QA in 2022 as a trainer, and in April 2023 she moved into a PPM solutions consultant role scoping, developing and delivering bespoke solutions in additional to developing PPM related marketing collateral. In July 2024 Jackie was appointed Capability Lead / Practice Director setting the product strategy for the PPM portfolio. Jackie has a deep specialism in the Change Management / Leadership space.
