If you’re attending any QA ILT or VILT course, you’ll have access to the Discovery plan at no extra cost. Alongside your live training, you can audit skills, apply learning, and explore where you might want to grow next.
With every VILT and ILT course purchase, you will receive access to your Discovery plan, at no extra cost.

Is the Discovery plan free?
The Discovery plan is only free if you have purchased an ILT or VILT course from QA. As an additional offering to these courses, the Discovery plan is included at no extra cost.
If you have not purchased an ILT or VILT course from QA, you can still purchase a Discovery plan. You’ll just pay a small fee for access. View QA Learning Platform plans
Do I need to opt-in?
Yes. To opt-in, activate the Discovery plan via clear ‘Milestones’ in the MyQA portal.
What data is used to set up access?
We transfer your first name, surname, and email address to the QA Learning Platform & selected third parties. If your organisation has policies that restrict the transfer of personal data outside the UK or EU, you should not opt in to the Discovery plan.
Can I complete my ILT course without the Discovery plan?
Yes. The Discovery plan is optional but recommended for the best learning experience.
How long does the free Discovery plan last?
The free Discovery plan is available for six months from the start of your ILT or VILT course.
Does this change anything for digital only or blended courses?
No. Digital and blended courses already use the QA Learning Platform as standard.
