Scott Hayes is a Principal Learning Specialist at QA, specialising in endpoint systems, device management, and modern workplace technologies.
With over 40 years’ experience in the IT service sector, Scott began his career in 1986 in hardware and support engineering before moving into technical training in 1998. Since then, he has developed a reputation for delivering engaging, practical training that reflects real-world enterprise environments.
Scott’s core expertise is in endpoint management across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms, working with technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Jamf, and Omnissa Workspace ONE. He supports organisations in designing and implementing device management strategies that cover enrolment, configuration, application deployment, security, compliance, and the full device lifecycle.
A key area of Scott’s specialism is supporting Apple devices in the enterprise. He has extensive experience in macOS and iOS support, Apple Business Manager, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and the integration of Apple devices into predominantly Microsoft-based environments. His work focuses on helping IT teams confidently deploy, secure, and manage Apple devices at scale.
In addition to endpoint management, Scott has strong expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Entra ID and Azure, and how they underpin modern identity, security, and device management solutions.
Scott is also known for his collaborative approach within QA, bringing together subject matter experts across disciplines and contributing to the continuous development of high-quality training programmes.
His training style is centred on clarity, real-world relevance, and hands-on experience, ensuring learners leave with practical skills they can apply immediately in enterprise environments.
