Biography

Rob is the Portfolio Director for Cloud and Infrastructure with over 30 years of experience, specialising in supporting organisations in their adoption of cloud and the essential underpinning infrastructure technologies.

Having worked as an AWS Authorised Instructor (AAI), Citrix Certified Instructor (CCI) and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT),  Rob’s areas of expertise include Virtualisation and Cloud technologies – AWS and Azure, including as one of a handful of Master CCIs – globally responsible for assisting the Citrix education team in content development and TTT programs. Rob has participated in numerous steering committees, Advisory boards and focus groups to help shape official vendor curriculum. Rob has a strong history of managing technical teams and SMEs – building communities of best practice within the education sector.

Rob has worked as part of the development and scoping teams within the England, Wales and Scotland apprenticeship programmes. This includes topics such as the initial design of said programmes, ensuring all content satisfies relevant KSBs, identification and authoring of content, as well as delivery of official Microsoft Azure and AWS training classes to supplement the learner experience.
