Michael Wood

Michael is an experienced Project and Programme manager, having delivered major system and process changes in the public sector (local authorities and NHS), construction (Westminster and Chelsea Hospital), telecommunications (Cable and Wireless) and general business consultancy (Cap Gemini).  Michael has also managed projects implementing many different technologies, from large scale e-commerce platforms to ERP implementations to 250 people office moves to mergers of international companies.  These projects and programmes have used a variety of project methods, including Prince2, APM, MSP and Agile methodologies, such as DSDM.

In his long career at QA, Michael has taught and developed courses in PRINCE2, APM, PMI, Agile, Programme Management, including MSP, and Change Management.

Michael’s worked with many of our major customers, such as the United Nations, Unilever, the NHS, HMPPS, DWP, Cap Gemini, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, Atos, as well as many local authorities.  He has delivered accredited examination courses, as well as group consultancy and one-to-one support sessions.  In his role as a senior member of the Learning Consultancy team, he has designed project and programme management frameworks for clients such as James Walker and National Rail.
