Gerry’s 25 years of industry experience and facilitative style are extremely well received by a number of QA’s key clients across a wide range of industries, supporting individual development from apprenticeship to board-level members. This also involves consulting, project assurance, business change and learning assignments, several of which have been global programmes. Gerry has a unique ability to design and deliver innovative and engaging solutions – with a strong emphasis on experiential and fun learning.
Prior to joining QA, Gerry was employed as a Senior Program Manager with Cadence Design Systems (the world’s largest independent design services consultancy). Primarily working in the field of research and development, he led multiple design, consulting and business improvement projects for major clients such as Philips, Sony, and Nokia. After graduating, Gerry spent several years as an industrial designer and moved into project management with Motorola, ultimately assuming the position of New Products Introduction Manager for Motorola’s Global Smartcard Division.
A thirst for self-learning has led Gerry to complete multiple project management, agile, change, leadership and business analysis qualifications, which complement his MBA. More recently, he is utilising the skills and knowledge acquired from the CIPD Diploma in L&D to design and deliver new learning programmes that focus on social and collaborative learning within classroom, virtual and digital environments.
