Accessing the Apprenticeship Certificate
Learners can now access and download their apprenticeship certificate through a new digital certificate service.
This change means they will no longer need to receive a physical certificate by post as part of the certification process. Learners will access their certificates directly through the digital service once they become available.
How the new service will work
Once an apprenticeship has been successfully completed and a certificate is available, you will be able to:
- sign in to the digital certificate service
- verify their identity using information including their Unique Learner Number (ULN) and other security questions
- view and download their apprenticeship certificate
- securely share a verification link with employers and other third parties to confirm their achievement
What are the benefits?
The new digital-first approach will:
- ensure learners can access their certificate directly through a secure online service
- provide learners with immediate access to your certificate once it becomes available
- provide a secure way for learners to share proof of achievement with employers and third parties
- reduce reliance on printed certificates and postal delivery.
