The VMware Certified Professional - VMware Cloud Foundation Architect (VCP-VCF Architect) certification validates a candidate's skills in designing VCF solutions including manageability, availability, performance, recovery and security, as well as monitoring, capacity planning, and migration. Job-roles associated with this certification include infrastructure architects and consultants.
Candidates should have practical experience in the design of VMware Cloud Foundation Solutions. this certification validates skills in designing VMware Cloud Foundation solutions, focusing on the key design characteristics for availability, manageability, performance, recoverability, and security (AMPRS). In addition candidates should be involved in the management of VMware Cloud Foundation and will validate their ability to design and manage a VMware Cloud Foundation environment, including monitoring, capacity, planning and completing migrations to VMware Cloud Foundation. Finally candidates must validate their capability to convert business objectives into logical and physical design by assessing and documenting risks, assumptions and constraints, ensuring alignment with entire Software Defined Datacenters (SDDC) and customer technology landscapes.
