Biography
Simon has over 30 years’ experience in management and leadership. He completed an honors degree in management in 2014. Simon’ s career from this point has been centered around people and professional development. Prior to joining QA he was a learning & development partner for a large national organization.
His role was to provide specialist L&D advice and coaching to key business leaders to enable them to improve the skills and competency of their teams. In this role his proudest accomplishment was setting up a leadership development program. In terms of his own professional development he recently completed the CIPD level 5 diploma in learning and development. He has associate membership with the CIPD. This has enabled him to keep his skills up to date in both human resources and learning and development. As a coach and assessor for leadership and management he is a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and (ILM) Institute of Leadership and Management and keeps his skills up to date by accessing their latest articles, research and thinking.
He has recently completed the digital & analytics specialist career pathway program in QA. This provided him valuable skills and knowledge that he’s been able to put into practice. This includes improving communication and engagement with the wider team as well as with stakeholders, peers and learners. He is currently completing the Level 5 ILM certificate in coaching and mentoring.
