Biography

Rachelle has 32 years’ experience in learning and development. Rachelle started as a national trainer with BT and spent over 16 years designing and delivering training in customer service, sales support, emergency response (999), IT, and leadership courses. Rachelle was also content writer and editor on the VLE web-based platform, an online knowledge management tool used by BT customer support center staff ensuring accuracy before publication. In 2008, Rachelle consolidated her practical experience into academic achievement gaining a Master of Arts Degree (MA) in Education graduating with Distinction. Rachelle specialized in adult teaching and learning strategies.

As a freelance learning and development consultant Rachelle completed many wide-ranging projects for private sector companies, public sector companies, local education authorities and schools. The bespoke solutions included: leadership coaching; e-learning development; Microsoft applications training; training needs analysis; corporate social responsibility activities; problem solving strategies; English, maths and ICT skills training; corporate event management; personal effectiveness; business development; research; data analysis and recruitment.

Her expertise is diverse and includes designing and delivering bespoke training solutions for organizations and educational material for use in schools/HE/FE establishments; organizing and managing national training events; lecturing and tutoring in FE/HE in BTEC Extended Diploma in IT qualification; acting as an ambassador for BT’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs and establishing links with LEAs and schools to create volunteering opportunities.
Rachelle has worked with ILM and CMI leadership and management qualifications and apprenticeships as a tutor and an assessor since 2014.

Rachelle joined QA in 2018 as a skills coach supporting learners undertaking ILM and CMI apprenticeships on the Level 7 Senior Leader Master’s Degree, Level 5 Operations/ Departmental Manager and Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeships. Rachelle supported learners throughout their learning journey and reviewed and provided feedback on evidence produced by learners throughout their apprenticeship, to support completion of work-based modules and EPA to meet the requirements of the awarding organization and ESFA and OFSTED.

In 2022 Rachelle joined the Leadership and Business delivery team and has developed and delivered the team’s wide range of topics in business and personal effectiveness. Rachelle has been involved in some major programs including Smiths, delivering their bespoke ‘Accelerate’ programs both in the UK and globally, as well as the EY ‘Client Centric’ programs.
