At QA we recognize the value that serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business and we proudly pledge to offer our support.
As a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, we pledge to create a working place that’s inclusive of all those within the military family. Being a gold member of the Government's Defense Employer Recognition Scheme, we also join forces with other employers to drive forward the aims of the Armed Forces Covenant and tighten the ties between Defense and employers.
We recognize the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business and commit to:
- offering a guaranteed interview to all service leavers within the last two years if they meet the role's minimum criteria
- supporting QA members of, and those wishing to join, the Reserve Forces and acknowledge the training undertaken by reservists
- 10 days' paid leave for reservist activities each year.

Buddy scheme
Our service buddy scheme helps all military-relevant new starters and colleagues transition from military to civilian life at QA. If you join us, you'll be buddied up with an experienced service family member who'll show you the ropes and support you from day one.
Service family network
We are passionate about supporting our service community effectively, whether that be for service leavers, veterans, reservists, cadet adult volunteers or family members, who often provide much-needed emotional support. Our service family community are here to help one another with service issues, share stories and meet new friends with similar experiences.
