Our evolution
We’ve grown alongside the technology industry. Here’s a look at the milestones that shaped us (and the world).
1985
QA is started in the UK by three former Intel employers – 10% owned by IBM.
1990s
QA acquires the training division of CapGemini. The organization experiences high growth, focused on in-person training and apprenticeships.
2006
QA is bought by Interquad and becomes QA-IQ.
2010s
QA is the first training company to launch virtual, instructor led classrooms.
2014: QA launches US business
2015: Acquires TAP learning
2017: Acquired by CVC Capital Partners
2019: QA acquires US-based Cloud Academy for AI smart platform and labs
2020s
2020 - QA acquires UK-based Circus Street for marketing tech self-paced training.
Transition after Covid from mostly in-person to >90% virtual instructor-led training.
Today
Leading in AI training, embedding AI impact in all content areas, and leveraging AI functionality in QA's online learning platform.
