Illuminate IT are looking for an IT apprentice to join their team. The successful applicant will be expected to answer customer queries, log calls in call logging software. Assist with 1st line support and to provide assistance to the team as required. You will gain an apprenticeship - IT Professional SCQF Level 6

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones, answer customer emails to support mailbox
  • Log calls in Helpdesk software
  • Check customer backups and log call for team if any issues
  • Assist with 1st line support
  • Attend site with other team members and assist when required
  • Archive old helpdesk system
  • Undertake any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required

Required Skills:

Personable, team worker, keen eye for detail, good work ethic happy to go the extra mile, interested in learning and in IT in particular. Driving license important but not essential

Additional Information:

Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

£12,000 rising to £14,000 after 6 months

Future Career Progression:

Potential to progress into level 8 apprenticeship for the right candidate
