Main role and responsibilities:
We have a requirement for an apprentice engineer to help support issue resolution and installations both via remote access and onsite visits to client’s sites as required. To provide 1stand possibly 2ndline technical support to Cloud4 clients.
The role will also involve supporting the configuration of new VoIP phone systems, PC’s, Servers and Exchange mailboxes and backup software for which full training will be provided.
Desirable Skills/Personal Qualities:
Person needs to have a passion for IT, have a service led attitude and be able to communicate well withcustomers. They need to be able to work well independently but know when to seek support from more senior staff when required in order to complete all work to Cloud4 standards. Person will need to be flexible and adaptable to change in a fast growing environment.
Due to travelling within the role the person needs to drive and have or have ready access to a car. (All business travel expenses will be reimbursed by the company).
Ideally live in the Wigan Borough area.
3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade C or above.
Monday to Friday,
Shift Patterns - 8.30 am to 4.30 pm or 9.30 am to 5.30 pm - 35 hours per week
