Currently seeking an ambitious, eager and enthusiastic individual for a Accounts Assistant position in the heart of the city centre of Edinburgh.

Duties

  • Posting any transactions processed late by the bank up to close of business in the previous day to the finance systems
  • Post all transactions processed by bank for current day to the finance system
  • This includes the allocation of cash received against client invoices
  • Process all supplier invoices ensuring compliance with internal authorisation limits
  • Process all supplier statements received
  • Deal with any internal requests relating to finance matters relating to payments receipts
  • Deal with any external requests relating to payments and receipts

Other:-

  • File finance papers and documents - this includes electronic filling
  • Credit card - reconciliations and postings
  • Petty Cash - reconciliations and postings
  • Maintain Fixed Asset register

As part of this role, you will gain a Diploma in Digital Applications Support SCQF Level 6
