The goal of this course is to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to design a VMware vSphere® 5.5 virtual infrastructure that is available, scalable, manageable, and secure. You will design such an infrastructure while meeting your organization's business objectives and working within its constraints and requirements.

This course discusses the benefits and risks of available design alternatives and provides information to support making sound design decisions. This course also gives you an opportunity to practice your design skills by working with peers on a design project.

The course is based on VMware ESXi™ and VMware vCenter Server™ 5.5.

After you complete this course you may enroll in any of our advanced vSphere courses.

Prerequisites

Please Note: All VMware course materials will only be available to delegates in e-courseware format. VMware will email delegates with instructions on how to access their e-book entitlement no less than 48 hours before their course is due to take place. If you have an existing VMware MyLearn account it is imperative that you notify QA of the email address you have registered to this account.

Those delegates who are attending via either virtual or extended classroom will be required to provide either dual monitors or single monitor plus a tablet device.
