This three-day instructor-led classroom training offers students who are new to HP Cloud Service Automation (CSA) the opportunity to receive a product overview, and understand the features and key concepts of HP Cloud Service Automation. In addition, this course provides an introduction to HP Operations Orchestration (OO), HP Server Automation (SA), and HP Network Automation (NA) and describes how they are used in a Cloud context.

This training comes with Adoption Readiness Training (ART) simulations to develop the hands-on experience in designing/ordering CSA services and learning how to navigate through CSA, OO, SA, and NA.

Who should attend?

This course is recommended for students who are new to the Cloud Service Automation and HP Cloud computing in general, and who need to understand the basic functionality of the main components.

Module 1 - Introduction to HP Cloud Service Automation

Module 2 - Cloud Service Automation Primer

  • Describe service designs
  • Develop service designs from prebuilt components
  • Build service designs with supporting, underlying components


Module 3 - Service Design Essentials

  • Create resource offerings and design a service for user consumption using the CSA Consumer portal


Module 4 - CSA Operations Essentials

  • Use the Service Operations tab of the CSA Management Console to view and manage service instances for consumer organizations


Module 5 - Introduction to HP Operations Orchestration

  • Explain how HP Operations Orchestration is used in an HP Cloud Service Automation context
  • Log in to HP Operations Orchestration Central
  • User help
  • Describe the tab-based central user interface
  • Run flows interactively
  • Monitor interactive flow runs
  • Determine the History ID and Universally Unique Identifier (UUID)
