About this course

Course code TPSOM220
Duration 4 Days

This four-day course introduces students to the essential concepts and usage of the HP Storage Operations Manager (SOM) software. SOM is part of HP Business Service Management solutions.

Working with SOM 10.01 includes using the SOM UI. Students gain a thorough understanding of Storage Resource Management (SRM) concepts, the functionality of the software, and its application to typical storage implementations. Other topics in the course enable participants to use SOM Reporter.

The course consists of focused, task-oriented lectures, text, and a series of detailed hands-on labs to teach the course material to the student. The hands-on labs use version 10.01 of the software.
