This course provides a basic introduction to batch processing concepts, exposing how these fit into the HP NonStop system environment. Topics include NetBatch product overview, software installation instructions, and planning, setup, and usage guidelines for NetBatch objects. This one-day course is 30 percent lecture and 70 percent hands-on labs using HP servers.

Prerequisites

  • NonStop S-series Server Administration I (U5448S or
  • NonStop NS-series Server Administration I (U8528S) or
  • Concepts and Facilities for HP NonStop Systems (U4147S) and
  • At least six months experience on Integrity NonStop S-series or NonStop NS-series servers
