Course Information

During the programme you will be required to spend 20% of your time at work on off-the-job learning.

Our programme helps you easily fit your learning around your day job with access to our online learning platform – learning can be accessed anytime, anywhere and on any device so you get high-quality content on the go.

You will complete:

  1. Seven knowledge modules introducing project management theories and fundamentals, through a combination of online learning and practical classroom workshops.
  2. A work-based portfolio showcasing how you have demonstrated the skills you have learnt in real work projects.
  3. An end-point assessment in the last 2-3 months of the programme to ensure you have met the learning outcomes of the programme.

The entry requirements:

  • Minimum age 18
  • A Level in any subject
  • Or Level 3 qualification in a similar subject
  • Or an existing project management qualification
  • You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.

You will learn essential skills including:

  • Understanding the principles of project management
  • Using Agile
  • Working with business case budget and cost control
  • Planning, risk and quality
  • Leading projects
  • Communicating and stakeholder management

This will equip you with the skills essential to take on job roles such as Junior Project Manager, Project Management Support and any other roles in project management.
