Half-Day Course

Resilience can be thought of as our ability to bounce back, or even grow, in the face of pressures and difficulty.  The stronger your personal resilience, the better equipped you are to handle pressure and reduce stress.  This course will look at coping with everyday pressures as well as dealing with both ongoing and short term stressful situations.


Learning Outcomes

By the end of the event, the delegates will have explored:

  • The difference between pressure and stress
  • Causes of pressure
  • How to build your resilience
  • Techniques to minimise stress and cope with pressure
  • Create a personal tailored plan to manage stress and pressure


What the course will cover:

  • Introduction to the principles of challenge, pressure and stress
  • Exploring what causes stress and how to build resilience to it
  • Everyday techniques for actively managing stress
  • Developing a personal plan for ongoing stress and highly stressful situations


All courses are delivered onsite by a training team with experience of working in over 50 NHS Trusts, and provide key professional development skills contextualised to fit an NHS environment.
