QA trainer Gary Mobey has just won the EMEA VMware Certified Instructor (VCI) of the quarter award, succeeding fellow QA trainer Andy Fox.
Every quarter VMware present an award to those VCIs that aspire to be the best of the best. The awards are VMware's version of the "Oscars", identifying and rewarding excellence. They recognise outstanding VMware Certified Instructors from the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region who share their expertise about VMware technologies with others.
The EMEA VCI of the Quarter Award for the period of January to March 2015 is QA's Gary Mobey. Over the quarter he delivered several classes including vSphere, Virtual SAN, Site Recovery Manager and Horizon. On several of these courses all the students gave him perfect scores along with outstanding feedback such as:
"Top guy with an answer to everything"
"Brilliant instruction from Gary!"
"Excellent Instructor. Best I've had"
"I have attended a lot of courses over the years and Gary is one of the only instructors that has managed to keep me engaged and interested throughout the length of the course. His knowledge is impressive and his ability to relate the theory to real life is extremely useful."
Gary was amongst the top VCIs in the region in terms of number of days teaching, and he was also top in evaluation scores. Despite being on platform every week, he managed to deliver an impressively wide range of courses to a very high standard. He was also amongst the first to deliver the new vSphere 6.0 and also the vRealize Operations Install Configure and Manage courses.
Gary isn't the only QA trainer to win this prestigious award. He directly succeeds fellow QA trainer Andy Fox. The evidence is compelling:
