What’s the job like?

Infrastructure technicians help people to use technology well, so they can do their job well.

You’ll do lots of different things – set people up on systems – help people when they need it – problem solve issues and fix problems.

You’ll work with other people so, you’ll be good at communicating, and listening to instructions. And most importantly – be a great team player.

You’ll have lots of different tasks to complete, so you’ll need to manage your time wisely. You’ll also have to make some decisions – know when to use your head, and know when to ask for help.

If you’re curious, enjoy getting to the bottom of things, and understanding how they work... and if you love working step by step – the Infrastructure Technician Level 3 apprenticeship is for you.
