What’s the job like?

You’ll be a valuable part of an organisation, helping it run smoothly and achieve its goals. You’ll have really transferable skills – that means that you could work almost anywhere. In a small business, a large business – in a private company, the public sector, or a charity. It’s your choice.

What you could be doing day-to-day will vary (depending on where you work) – but normally, you’ll work with databases, keep records, write documents (like emails, proposals, or letters), organise events, or manage projects.

You’ll be a great communicator – getting your message across clearly, and professionally – in person, on the phone or in writing. And, if you’re organised – this is for you. You’ll need to manage your time (and help other people manage theirs) wisely.

Am I eligible?

You need to have:

  • Three GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4 or above in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade 3 or above

You must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same, or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
