A little more about the role: Working within our Degree Apprenticeship Programme you will enjoy the prospect of coaching, mentoring & assessing groups of young adults towards the achievement of technical degree qualifications. Full training will be provided, all you will need is a suitable technical degree. You will support remotely (approx. 80%) with some F2F visits on client site.

What you’ll get up to: Having a caseload of students, you will engage and organise with our learners to complete planned assessments in line with their technical programme. Your knowledge will include at least one from: Software Development OR Database Development OR Networking OR Technical Security OR Server Infrastructure OR Service Management. 

What’s so important is your approach, organisation and proactivity to help retain learners and ensure each student achieves their assigned projects and qualification in line with the targets and objectives you have agreed in the Individual Learning Plan

What you’ll bring to the team:

A Degree OR other Higher Education Qualification in Computer Science, Computing, Software Development, and Networking or a related discipline, OR significant industry experience.

Willingness to gain Coaching and Assessor Qualifications within 12 months of commencing employment

The ability to provide inspiring coaching sessions to degree apprentices – training provided. 

Ability to identify individual learner needs – training provided.   

Ability to provide feedback in a way that motivates individual learners

Ability to identify and help learners to overcome potential barriers to progress and achievement
