What will you be doing? As Learning Solutions Consultant you will be working with our key HMG & Defence clients to identify bespoke training and programme requirements, then designing and developing creative and innovative solutions. Our solutions are mainly technology related and will vary in scope and scale from short term training courses to large scale, complex programmes involving multiple interventions and modes of delivery.
Your focus: Ideally you will have technical aptitude and a learning background giving you the knowledge, skills and confidence to create innovative, purposeful, blended learning solutions. You will have direct, hands-on experience of the full learning cycle, from analysing requirements, to designing solutions, supporting their implementation and evaluating their impact. You will enjoy engaging with strategic stakeholders to scope technical training requirements and will work closely with Subject Matter Experts to identify the most up to date technical content. Your approach to customer relationship management will be consultative and collaborative and you will find yourself working alongside our clients to identify development needs and potential solutions to skills gaps. Your background may be as a Learning Consultant, a Technical Trainer with a talent for programme design, a learning services Account Manager or you may be a Senior Instructional Designer who enjoys creating bespoke, blended learning solutions.
Bring your experience:
Able to engage at all levels and demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
Experience of applying a range of learning and development design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE, SAT)
Confidence to work both independently and collaboratively when designing technical solutions
Credible background in creating blended learning solutions using a range of learning platforms
Knowledge and understanding of learning assessment and evaluation models e.g. Kirkpatrick
Capable of designing and developing large scale complex learning programmes
Knowledge and understanding of the Cyber Security landscape to a foundation/fundamental level
Interest in digital transformation and emerging technical areas such as Cloud, Data Science and AI
Credible understanding of wider technology landscape and technology environments
Effective commercial acumen and ability to make commercial decisions
Proven track record of successful account management within a training/learning services environment
Exemplary writing, presentation and communication skills with ability to structure large proposals and bids
