This technical training course will familiarise delegates with the way that computers communicate over internal and external networks so that they will gain awareness of networking concepts and the vocabulary in use. It is based on the Ethernet and TCP/IP protocols and the way they are used during this communication.

The course is generic in nature although Cisco networking equipment will be used in the practical exercises and is aimed at technical professionals that wish to gain through theory and practical training sessions more advanced networking skills.

Prerequisites

Delegates should be familiar with the Ethernet and Internet Protocols, Microsoft Windows desktop and command line operations.
