This is a starter programme for anyone beginning their career in training and wishing to significantly improve their trainig skills. Trainers first need to have an understanding of how people learn. Then, they need the skills to engage with the learners and deliver learning in ways that encourage both retention and application. This programme provides the new or inexperienced trainer with the knowledge and skills required to deliver interactive and participative classroom training, underpinned by a sound understanding of a wide range of learning theories.

The Training Accreditation Programme (TAP) is the UK’s leading qualifications framework for Learning & Development. Recognised by the Queen’s Award for Innovation, the TAP methodologies are used within more than 1,300 organisations across all strands of the private and public sectors. Delegates plan and deliver a training session on a topic of their choice, which meets the TAP Training Style, Activity and Structure profiles
