Overview

This 2-day instructor-led courses supports a brand new qualification, developed in collaboration with the Software Improvement Group to certify programmers who have the necessary skillset to produce high quality code. The course supports the Maintainability Foundation Level exam which takes the following format:

  • 75 questions
  • 2 hours in duration
  • Closed book
  • Available at a testing centre or through web proctoring
  • Provides a certificate of perpetual validity

Target Audience

Typical attendees on this course would be Java developers wishing to learn how to create good quality code and Java development teams who want to learn best practices to ensure they produce maintainable software.

Prerequisites

2 years of working experience in object-oriented programming language (particularly Java) or BSc in computer science or software engineering
