This Total Learning course is for existing and aspiring programme managers (who currently holdthe MSP 5th edition Foundation certificate) looking to develop their skills and knowledge and earn an industry best practice qualification in programme management.
The course will enable learners to progress their MSP Foundation-levelcertification to the MSP Practitioner-level certification.
Learners may be preparing to transition from a project management role into a programme management position. Alternatively, they could be experienced programme managers or senior managers looking to prove their change implementation skills and enhance their programme credentials by gaining the MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) Practitioner certification.
In this course, learners will benefit from both digital and live learning to provide the best possible preparation to pass the MSP Practitioner examination. This includes the Digital stage, designed around the MSP syllabus, which is comprised of sample exam questions, quizzes, and a combination of video and written content.
The 2-day virtual Live event focuses on deepening learners’ understanding of the key topics and involves feedback sessions on exam technique, with a specific focus on MSP Practitioner-style exam questions, enabling learners to confidently progress on to the exam.

Prerequisites
To take the Managing Successful Progammes 5th edition Practitioner exam, candidates are required to have MSP 5th edition Foundation certificate. If you hold edition 4 Foundation certification, you will need to sit course PBPMSPFP (Ed. 4 Practitioner).
At the end of this course, the learner will be able to

Course Outline
This Total Learning course consists of three stages:
- Digital stage - 10 hours, completed over a minimum of 2 weeks
- Live event – 2 days
- Apply stage – 2 hour 30 minute Practitioner examination
Digital stage
During the digital stage, learners will work through online content, exploring the MSP syllabus through a series of modules. The MSP Digital modules contain digital learning designed around the MSP syllabus, exam hints and tips, sample exam questions, quizzes, and a combination of video and written content.

Live event
During the 1-day virtual Live event, learners will work individually and in teams to consolidate the MSP Practitioner theory through practical, exam-focused activities. The facilitator will use Miro to create a digital workspace environment, enabling a collaborative and interactive learning experience.

Exam
After the Live phase, learners will progress on to the MSP Practitioner exam.
Learners can select a suitable timeslot for their Practitioner exams following the 2-day Live event. We know that some learners prefer to schedule this soon after the event itself, whereas others prefer a short break to revise the content. Booking via PeopleCert will give the learner the choice.
The exam takes place remotely via PeopleCert Online Proctoring. Learners will be required to download and install ExamShield and conduct a compatibility test prior to sitting the exam.

- Open book
- The official manual may be annotated and tabulated, but no sticky notes or loose leaf papers containing additional notes will be allowed.

There are a number of ways to create an account. If you are a self-funder, simply select the "Create account" option on the login page.
If you have been booked onto a course by your company, you will receive a confirmation email. From this email, select "Sign into myQA" and you will be taken to the "Create account" page. Complete all of the details and select "Create account".
If you have the booking number you can also go here and select the "I have a booking number" option. Enter the booking reference and your surname. If the details match, you will be taken to the "Create account" page from where you can enter your details and confirm your account.

How do QA’s virtual classroom courses work?
Our virtual classroom courses allow you to access award-winning classroom training, without leaving your home or office. Our learning professionals are specially trained on how to interact with remote attendees and our remote labs ensure all participants can take part in hands-on exercises wherever they are.
We use the WebEx video conferencing platform by Cisco. Before you book, check that you meet the WebEx system requirements and run a test meeting (more details in the link below) to ensure the software is compatible with your firewall settings. If it doesn’t work, try adjusting your settings or contact your IT department about permitting the website.

How do QA’s online courses work?
QA online courses, also commonly known as distance learning courses or elearning courses, take the form of interactive software designed for individual learning, but you will also have access to full support from our subject-matter experts for the duration of your course. When you book a QA online learning course you will receive immediate access to it through our e-learning platform and you can start to learn straight away, from any compatible device. Access to the online learning platform is valid for one year from the booking date.
All courses are built around case studies and presented in an engaging format, which includes storytelling elements, video, audio and humour. Every case study is supported by sample documents and a collection of Knowledge Nuggets that provide more in-depth detail on the wider processes.

When will I receive my joining instructions?
Joining instructions for QA courses are sent two weeks prior to the course start date, or immediately if the booking is confirmed within this timeframe. For course bookings made via QA but delivered by a third-party supplier, joining instructions are sent to attendees prior to the training course, but timescales vary depending on each supplier’s terms.
