This unique QA learning path explores how Project managers operate in an Agile Environment. You will gain an appreciation of universal agile principles, tools and tenets before progressing on to explore the specific DSDM Agile Project Management framework (AgilePM) in depth.

You will begin with an introduction to the history, principles and manifesto of Agile. You will gain an appreciation of the main rules and artefacts of agile, how to produce work via sprints, how to manage a product backlog and how to define the Product Vision. You will also learn how agile techniques can be blended with other practices such as Kanban.

The second course in this learning path will explore in depth the best practices for setting up an agile project; how to identify the appropriate people to perform specific agile roles; how to define increments and time boxes to keep agile projects on track. You will learn how to manage a solutions development team; communicate with stakeholders and use agile techniques, including prioritisation of requirements to ensure on-time project delivery. You will look at techniques that can be employed to mitigate risk in agile projects and you will explore mechanisms that can be used to ensure senior management buy in for utilising agile approaches to your organisation’s projects.

You will receive the ICAgile Fundamentals certification and on successful completion of the course. APMG Agile Foundation and Practitioner exams are completed on the final day of the respective courses.

It is expected that you will have experience managing projects in a structured/waterfall environment.
