This week, Adobe have released the new 'Adobe Document Cloud'. This collection of products takes the existing Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader applications and reworks them:
- Acrobat DC provides a touch-enabled and mobile device-friendly interface. The camera on your device can be used to 'scan' a paper document into digital format that can then be edited directly on the device. Acrobat DC is available as part of a subscription to the Adobe Document Cloud, or to Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Document Management & Control allows you to track where your documents are along their process, and even allows you to see who has opened them and when.
- Mobile Link allows you to access your files across multiple devices – your files, signatures and settings are always with you.
- Adobe Acrobat DC Mobile and Adobe Fill & Sign DC allow you to create, sign and comment on documents directly on mobile devices, and both apps are currently available for iOS and Android platforms from their respective stores.
